I live in Boston Ma. From the very beginning Obama has struck me as a man willing to do what it takes to bring change. Much in life involves around your ability to convey your vision. Obama has a gift in his ability to communicate. I am betting on his character to see it through!

I live in Southern Ca. I agree Obama is a gifted communicator. Part of this is that his quality as a human being just naturally shines when he speaks. Rather than just policies and programs and a whole litany of fixes, I think our country, and our world, could use more leaders who are able to inspire people to stand up for freedom and the respect of all.
This country has huge areas where is does not function as a democracy, huge areas where democracy is being subverted. I believe Obama is aware and willing to help us find the energy within ourselves to take our power back.

I live in Richmond, VA. With all the changes that are going on in the world it is time for a change in the US as well. I am very new to speaking about politics but i feel that it is needed to make a difference. I feel that Barack Obama will change America and the way things are run. Candidates have always promised to fix the health care system and the truth is its not easy for this to happen. Promises are always made that this will change but little or nothing is every done. Mr. Obama has proposed ways to make health care more affordable to the people that have it and give health care it to people without it. The statement that impressed me the most was giving tax breaks to American based companies which in turn i believe will relieve companies budgets and maybe this will be the real solution to helping workers. He speaks to everyone and not just to a certain "class" of people and to me that states that he is for the people of the United States.

Obama inspires me. He causes his listeners to want to make a difference in our country and for the first time, it almost seems possible that positve change can take place--it seems tangible--all because of this one man.

I think often people are not thinking of what power a motivated group can have. I think people have felt kind of isolated and unable to make any difference; just going along with the program, trying to earn enough money, and letting our leaders run the country. But running the country means running our futures and our kid's futures.

We have seen the Clintons in action. A repeat of moral ineptness is not what America needs. McCain is to old and not stable enough in my mind.

What is your concept of experience in politics, what have those ,ones that you deem , that have experience, done down through the years, check this powerful, gifted person's track record, as a concerned human being, they said Jesus, didn't have experience, wake up, or what is it really with you!

No one ever was less ready to be president than George W Bush.

Senator Obama has seen the shady side of "politics as usual" and this is exactly what has inspired him to start a whole movement for change and to enlist all willing Americans to make this a government of the people, for the people and by the people. Why would we want another politician who is experienced in the corrupt practices that have dragged our country to the level it now occupies? There are many brains and many skills in place to help the wheels of government turn smoothly. If this were not the case, GWB would have totally trashed this nation.

Who would have thought that the SON of Kenyan would be running for
president of the United States. Isn't that amazing? How many people
know where Kenya is?

Reply to This

I know where Kenya is. I spent a delightful week there. I will always remember my time in Nairobi as well as in the bush. I would vote for the son of any nation as long I sensed his/her character, integrity, intelligence and commitment.
Does it seem I think experience is a bit over rated? hmm.

He is man filled with the spirit of HUMILITY. Humility is a quality which is rare in our modern world. Lack of it (or the opposite of it) is PRIDE & ARROGANCE. This has led leaders who want to rule the world to embark on WAR WITHOUT REASONING & WITHOUT END.There is so much pain, suffering and death because some of our world leaders have refused to be HUMBLE & CARING. They don't listen to others because they are always right. When they do listen, they CLOSE BOTH EARS & NOD THEIR HEADS.
As for Obama, i've always liked his mien cos he's cool. But after i watched him during the last debate with Hilary, i was at peace with the young man. he is my kind of person.he is a leader the world need at this period of so much crises. he knows the soothing words to use to calm frayed nerves. He will be the next president by the special grace of God. thanks.

Be The Difference You Want To See In The World

My story began in 2008, during the same period that President-Elect, Barack Obama, was preparing for his historic transition to become the first African-American President of The United States of America. His dramatic rise to the Presidency fostered a sense of excitement in the country and it centered around one powerful word: Change. Little did I know at the time that the word "change" would be a central theme for me, my family and my home town of Monroe, Louisiana. The type of change Obama cam… Continue

Yes We Did

This road to victory which began over 200 years ago started in Africa when people were taken from their lands and brought to this country in chains and irons to become slaves to a people they did not know or even understood. This road to victory was paved on the backs of those who worked the fields, helped to build this country from the ground, and have left their blood, sweat and tears in the grounds of these the United States of America.
This victory was cemented by those who marched and praye… Continue

Ramifications of Homeschooling

Hello,
My name is Doris Anne Beaulieu. I have a website-Life’s Ultimate Test dot com-on which you can learn more about my mission to change the face of home schooling.
I attended a parochial school as a child in the 1950's. In this Catholic school I was sheltered from the realities of the world around me-from swearing, from public displays of affection, from slang. These are often some of the same things that modern home schooling parents aim to protect their children from. A superior court judg… Continue

Blood-Democracy

My hope & dream is to find a globe of peace where human being is not subjected to die in hunger, without health-care or political oppressions rather then to enjoy fair-freedom and true-democracy but the past shows us the action of blood-communism, blood-democracy, blood-diamond, blood-oil, blood-occupation, blood-power and blood-jihad practices tragedy & threat to mankind while Obama is the change in the way in sustaining green global peace serving as a good-friend of the world respectin… Continue

something I did not really think of.

I just wanted to share what happened one day in the apartment complex we lived in. My daughter was walking then and she was so curious and always into everything. I can remember she was probably around 2 years old then. We went outside to play on the patio we shared with other tenants and I talked with the guy upstairs alot when he brought his daughter outside to play. One day he was leaning over the balcony asking me "How it was going" when my daughter said "Mommy, James is brown" I said yea ba… Continue

C-O-N-G-R-A-T-U-L-A-T-I-O-N-S!!!! It is a wonderful thing that the democratic primaries have come to an end and the nominee is Barack Obama. This is a new page folks and the world is already experiencing an aura of acceptance in anticipation of the good tidings we expect. I believe that this is the right time to rally around Obama to enable him win the general elections. My advise for Hilary is that she should sheath her sword because this contest has brought out the best of her - an indefatigab… Continue

BARACK OBAMA: THE SYMBOL OF UNITY & COLOR OF LOVE

I watched with keen interest the current debate of RACISM as regards Pastor Wright's comment. I saw the hullaballoo(in the two camps) and was scared about the division, hatred and failure such a debate could portend for the Democrats if not handled with care.
Once again, it was time for Barack Obama to respond to what seem to be a controversial topic. One that could make him or mar him in this campaign trail as he heads towards Pensylvannia in April to ask for voters support.
When Obama came on… Continue
