About Me:: I am a Maoli Kanaka (native hawaiian) now living in Iowa. I am honored to say I am an "OBAMA National Delegate At Large." It was a very long day at the Convention in Des Moines, Iowa but, it was well worth the time.

I worked the Iowa Caucus as a volunteer with Dean Fluker my county Field Organizer. I continue to work hard campaigning for our next President Barack Obama via the internet.

My platform that I am passionate about is: Human Rights.

I have been an advocate of many within my county and the surrounding area for over 25 yrs. I have helped many in housing, healthcare, and many other things too many to mention.

my first blog

this is my first entry and i want to talk about how wonderful it will be to head into a new era. We are a fine and proud people and hopefully and prayfully we will garner that feeling around the world again. something I did not really think of.

I just wanted to share what happened one day in the apartment complex we lived in. My daughter was walking then and she was so curious and always into everything. I can remember she was probably around 2 years old then. We went outside to play on the patio we shared with other tenants and I talked with the guy upstairs alot when he brought his daughter outside to play. Barrack is the only Man,besides , John F. Kennedy, that has caused, me to have any interest in politics period. i truly believe,in this Man, he will be the first President that i will vote for. i was too young in the sixties, when Kennedy was President...do your math on that one!

BARACK OBAMA: THE SYMBOL OF UNITY & COLOR OF LOVE

I watched with keen interest the current debate of RACISM as regards Pastor Wright's comment. I saw the hullaballoo(in the two camps) and was scared about the division, hatred and failure such a debate could portend for the Democrats if not handled with care.
